A member of the Jackson Spalding team since 1999, Mark Miller brings considerable talent and senior experience to JS Creative. He also chairs our firm's "Green Team," which promotes environmentally sound practices at our agency.
Mark's discerning eye and knack for detail has influenced work across the JS Creative spectrum, ranging from corporate identity to Web design and signage. He is especially adept at annual reports and earned an Honorable Mention in the 2008 Hermes Creative Awards for his Post Hope Community Foundation report, commissioned by Post Properties. Clients benefit not only from Mark's artistic direction, but also from his thorough working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign software, as well as the Web development applications of Dreamweaver and Flash.
Mark's skills were honed as in-house designer at Ernst & Young, where he created and oversaw production of proposals, brochures, logos, posters, booth graphics and other materials. Previously, he spent six years at indelible, inc., a small design firm where he further advanced his skills. He began his career in Chesapeake, VA, designing corporate identity materials for local businesses.
Mark earned a BFA with a concentration in Graphic Design from Radford University in Virginia. He was born in Pittsburgh and travels back every fall to root for the Steelers. In fact, he was in the stands for Super Bowl 43 to watch his home team win their league-leading 6th Lombardi trophy.
Today, Mark lives in Grant Park with his wife Ashley, two daughters — Malayna and Cassidy, and their two dogs — Zero and Salvador. He remains an avid sports enthusiast, and has recently taken up golf so he can play — and eventually beat — his Dad. When the weather cooperates, you may see Mark actively reducing his carbon footprint by cycling to work or long-boarding with fellow JS "board members" during the lunch hour.
