Dana is a PR switch-hitter who has gained experience as a team player on both our consumer and business-to-business account rosters. She is a fixture on the Orkin Commercial account, leading its media relations and strategic partner programs and contributing significant tradeshow support. She’s also spent time on the Chick-fil-A Bowl team, where she celebrated three New Years’ Eves gathering sound bites for sports reporters covering the collegiate match-up at the Georgia Dome.
Sports marketing has been in her blood since she began her career interning with the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). On the road through six states and nearly 13,000 miles, Dana coordinated tournament communications, a great springboard to her Jackson Spalding work for the Chick-fil-A Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America. It’s also where she first met her husband, Jeremy.
Dana received her Journalism degree, cum laude, from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia, where she was a Telecommunication Arts major. While there, she was a feature writer for the Red & Black daily student newspaper, which solidified her desire to pursue a career involving writing.
A lifelong community volunteer, beginning with 15 years in Girl Scouting, Dana now serves on the marketing committee for Girl Scouts of Metro Atlanta. She also stays active in the Bulldog Nation as a UGA Alumni Association volunteer.
Dana loves the outdoors and is currently focusing her attention on her own backyard, where she and Jeremy are investing sweat equity to create an open-air retreat.
