Chris came to Jackson Spalding in 2010 and serves as our Information Technology Specialist. He provides our desktop support, helping to troubleshoot technical problems and serving as our liaison with outside technical vendors. Chris loves his line of work because he says it involves constant learning.
Prior to joining our firm he was a Corporate Computer Support Analyst with Heery International, a full-service architecture, engineering and construction management firm with 30 U.S. offices and 800 employees. Earlier, he worked for Adelphia Communications as a PC Service Technician and in Broadband Technical Support. Chris began his career with the U.S. Navy as an Electronics Warfare Technician Third Class, a position that gave him security clearance to monitor online chatter for suspicious content, among other things.
He earned his associate degree from the ITT Technical Institute, graduating with honors. He plans to pursue his bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Securities as time permits over the next few years.
Although Chris says he likes to explore his low-tech interests away from work, he does remember a childhood in which he often dismantled electronic equipment for fun. Today, his fun revolves around family time with his wife, Lacrisha, and their two children along with his responsibilities as Youth Director at his church in Canton, Ga.
Chris grew up in Crystal River, Florida, which is evident during football season when his conversations around the water cooler focus on the Florida Gators.
