HAYLEY JOHNS

Hayley joined Jackson Spalding in 2008 and has quickly become a versatile performer on a broad cross-section of accounts. She is currently leading a public awareness campaign to combat childhood obesity in Georgia, a project she relishes as it combines her interest in fitness and event planning.

Her past work has included media outreach and events for large real estate clients, marketing collateral for a regional transportation initiative, social media for a not-for-profit campaign and presentation support for one of the world’s most recognizable brands.

A magna cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University, Hayley majored in Human and Organizational Development, which afforded her the opportunity to take the Meyers-Briggs skills assessment test. The test revealed her knack for writing, so she declared Communications as her minor, setting her sights on public relations.

During college she interned with an events management firm that put her on staff for the Michael Jordan Golf Tournament and the Sony PlayStation ® Conference. She also gained experience in Genesco’s corporate communications office, learning about employee communications and investor relations.

Outside of work, Hayley stays busy as the citywide Marketing Chair for Friends Junior Committee, an organization of young professionals who raise money for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She also plays tennis on two competitive teams and continues to train as a half-marathon contender.

Hayley grew up near Sanibel Island, Florida, but today is an urban dweller who shares a loft with husband Andy in Atlanta’s Poncey-Highlands district.
