Coury spends all his bandwidth making sure ours is working. As our resident "IT Guy," he works to protect us from computer viruses, phishing schemes and network problems that go bump in the night. He is constantly in-demand, providing individual computer instruction, file recovery and overall system administration for our three Jackson Spalding offices.
Prior to joining us in 2008, Coury was the network administrator for Contract Marketing, a consortium of manufacturers' representatives serving the commercial office sector.
A self-described computer geek, Coury has been building computers since he was 11 years old, purchasing individual components and assembling them for custom solutions. He is certified A+ in CompTIA and is working toward designation as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), which he should attain next year. In addition, he plans to earn his Information Technology degree from Southern Polytechnic Institute, where he has completed two years of study.
It's no surprise that Coury enjoys analytical challenges. One of his proudest achievements was wiring an electric go-cart that actually raced and placed in a high school competition. More surprising are his accomplishments as an amateur chef, something he enjoys doing for an admiring audience of friends and family.
Coury was born in South Florida, but grew up in Marietta - not far from the home he now shares with his wife, Stephanie, in Kennesaw, Ga.
